Going to the cinema was certainly not commonplace when I was growing up, but the ones I brought to life regarding current films and special cartoons were, to say the least, in a limited edition. Sometimes Dad started the super-8 projector and had a "movie screening" without sound and on very special occasions. On Saturday morning, we sat glued to tv and look at "Good morning Sweden" and laughed twice at Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote. Everything in between you had to do the best you could to open up exciting fairytale effects. But one Christmas I got a red View Master, and in it you put picture discs that spun pictures with a finger. If you aimed the View Master at the window and the sun shine outside, the picture became both 3D and almost, almost real. For my Christmas present that Christmas, I remember that one of the slides was: The three little pigs, very scary.
